Naomi Namekata is an Assistive Technology Specialist with the Washington Assistive Technology Act Program and manages the iCanConnect program (National Deaf Blind Equipment Distribution Program) for Washington state in partnership with the Perkins School for the Blind. She conducts assistive technology evaluations and performs accessibility testing of applications and websites for individuals and agencies, customizes screen reader functionality and provides AT training to professional staff.  Her interests include accessible application and web design, AT for individuals with multiple disabilities, mobile technology access.
