Mark Harniss, PhD is an Associate Professor in the Department of Rehabilitation Medicine, Associate Director of the Institute on Human Development & Disability (IHDD), PI and Director of the University Center for Excellence in Developmental Disabilities (UCEDD), PI and Director of the ADA Knowledge Translation Center, Director of the Center for Technology and Disability (CTD), Director of Education for the Center for Research and Education on Accessible Technology and Experiences (CREATE), and former Director of the UW Disability Studies Program. He is a core faculty member in the Rehabilitation Sciences doctoral program and the Disability Studies Program. His research and teaching focus on implementation science, knowledge translation, accessibility, and disability law and policy.
