Alan J. Knue, B. S., has been with the UWCTDS since 1996 when he took a position as a temporary office assistant and is now the Center’s Manager of Program Operations and the Director of the Washington Assistive Technology Act Program. He currently serves as a member of the AT3 Center’s Advisory Committee, the President of the Board of Directors for the Northwest Access Fund, and a member of the Northwest Universal Design Council. Mr. Knue received his college degree in Biology and Chemistry from Northland College in Ashland, WI. He spent his early professional years as a Biological Technician working with endangered species, including the Piping Plover, Bald Eagle, Spotted Owl and Marbled Murrelet.
