Alan J. Knue, B. S., has been with the UWCTDS since 1996 when he took a position as a temporary office assistant and is now the Center’s Manager of Program Operations and the Director of the Washington Assistive Technology Act Program. He is also currently the Chair of the Board of Directors for the Association of Assistive Technology Act Programs (http://www.ataporg.org/) and the President of the Board of Directors for the Washington Access Fund (http://washingtonaccessfund.org/). Mr. Knue received his college degree in Biology and Chemistry from Northland College in Ashland, WI. He spent his early professional years as a Biological Technician working with endangered species, including the Piping Plover, Bald Eagle, Spotted Owl and Marbled Murrelet.
