Patricia Dowden Ph.D.,CCC-SP(L), ATP. is an Assistant Clinical Professor at the U.W. Department of Speech and Hearing Sciences where she teaches courses in Augmentative and Alternative Communication and Evidence-Based Practice. She has developed several innovative websites in AAC: UW Augcomm and AAC enABLES. She is currently focusing on studies of infants and toddlers with severe motor impairments using single switches for communication and environmental control.
