University of Washington Center on Outcomes Rehabilitation Research (UWCORR)

The University of Washington Center on Outcomes Research in Rehabilitation ( UWCORR ) has the broad, long-term objectives of providing clinical researchers with better tools or methods to measure patient-reported outcomes (PRO) in children and adults with chronic disease and disability. UWCORR is a member of the Patient-Reported Outcome Measurement Information System (PROMIS) network and works collaboratively with five research sites and the Statistical Coordinating Center on the projects adopted by the network. Network projects are aimed at the development of a web-based item bank that could be used by clinical researchers to select and implement psychologically sound measures of patient reported outcomes. UWCORR leads the network efforts in improving measurement of pain in children and adults and participates in the pediatric workgroup that coordinates all PROMIS efforts that involve children.
