Academic Credit, Clock Hours and Continuing Ed Credits (CRC)

The following credits and certificates are only available to participants who register and pay for the entire session. These will not be available to participants who take individual modules.

University of Washington Academic Credits

Three academic credits will be available for an added fee from UW Extension under REHAB 496: AT Special Topics in Rehabilitation.

Registration for academic credit is a separate process from registering for the course. Registration for academic credit will take place onsite on the first day of the course and the fee will also be collected at that time. The registration fee and the fee for academic credit must be paid separately. Follow this link for the course syllabus and requirements.

Puget Sound Education Service District Clock Hour

Twenty seven (27) clock hours are available through Puget Sound Educational Service District for an additional fee. To receive the clock hours, an attendance sheet must be signed each day by the attendee. The sign-up forms for clock hours will be available on the last day of the Institute and the fee will be collected at that time.

Please Note: To receive In-service Clock Hours, the student must audit the course. If the student takes the course for credit, clock hours are not an option.

Rehabilitation Counselor Certification Credits

Twenty seven (27) continuing education credits from the Commission on Rehabilitation Counselor Certification (CRCC) for rehabilitation counselor certification maintenance are obtainable. To be eligible for these credits, an attendance sheet must be signed each day. The attendance verification forms needed for submitting to CRCC will be completed and handed out on the last day of Summer Institute.

Please Note: To receive CRC credits, the student must audit the course. If the student takes the course for credit, then continuing education credits are not an option.

Certificate of Completion from the UW School of Medicine

For other professional organizations, we will provide each student who completes all modules of the course with a certificate of completion. The certificate can be submitted to your professional accrediting organization.
