UWCTDS faculty provide education and training at the undergraduate, graduate, and continuing education level as well as basic and advanced skills training.

For Academic Credit

Throughout the year there are various academic opportunities for UW students to learn about disabilities and assistive technology. The Department of Rehabilitation Medicine offers disability-related courses, including courses offered through the PhD Program in Rehabilitation Science (http://rehab.washington.edu/education/degree/rehabsci/default.asp).

UWCTDS faculty also teach courses through the UW Disability Studies Program, that offers:

For Continuing Education or Academic Credit

If you are a consumer, family member, or practicing professional who is not currently pursuing a degree, these courses may count toward fulfilling clock hour requirements, accrue as continuing education credits or simply be a way to expand ones knowledge of assistive technology.
